Managing a disciplinary
A disciplinary meeting may be necessary
when a colleague fails to meet our
expectations. Colleagues are provided
with regular feedback from HR regarding
their performance, however a manager is
always entitled to investigate a colleagues
conduct should they deem it appropriate
to do so. A disciplinary meeting can
be scheduled to discuss a wide range
of subjects including colleague
performance or misconduct. See the
misconduct matrix below for more
information about types of issues and
outcomes of a disciplinary meeting.
Managing grievance
A grievance is a complaint a colleague can
make to their manager relating to their
employment. Complaints can be related
to numerous topics and the severity
of it can vary greatly. Any grievance
that directly relates to the colleagues
employment with ABC Invest must
be taken very seriously. Common
areas of concern for colleagues include
their working environment, colleague
relationships and aspects of their role
within the company.
